FATHERS’ EMOTIONAL AWARENESS AND CHILDREN’S EMPATHY

This study investigates the relationship between fathers’ emotional awareness and their children’s empathy development. It finds that fathers who are more attuned to their own emotions and express them healthily tend to raise children with higher levels of empathy. The research emphasizes the role of paternal emotional intelligence in fostering children’s social and emotional skills. It suggests that promoting emotional awareness in fathers can have positive effects on family dynamics and children’s emotional development​
